ABOUT The Mental Wellness Studio
Modern life moves fast.
Most people are coping well on the outside — and quietly worn down on the inside.
The Mental Wellness Studio is a calm, in-person space for people who want a steadier, more sustainable way of relating to themselves and their responsibilities.
This is not therapy.
Not performance coaching.
Not a one-size-fits-all programme.
It is a studio — a place to slow down, reflect, and restore internal balance without fixing, optimising, or rushing experience.
The work here focuses on:
awareness of internal pressure pattern
strengthening personal boundaries
learning to pause and respond rather than react
improving recovery and mental clarity
developing trust in one’s own regulation
Some people prefer gentle structure. Others work more intuitively. Both are welcome. The emphasis is always on practicality, presence, and respect for where you are.
Stillness here is not a retreat from life — it’s a way of meeting life with less friction.
About the Founder, Phil Hanson
Phil Hanson is an ICF ACC certified professional coach, an experienced programme leader with over 20 years in complex global environments, and a long-term mindfulness practitioner.
After years in high-pressure leadership roles, Phil recognised a growing disconnect between external success and internal wellbeing. Rather than stepping away from responsibility, he began exploring how presence, awareness, and self-regulation could be integrated within modern working life.
That exploration now informs his coaching approach: calm, grounded, and non-performative. Phil works with people who are already functioning well, but want to relate to work, family, and themselves with greater steadiness and clarity.
Phil does not offer answers or prescriptions.
He offers space — and the conditions for insight to emerge naturally.
